Monday, June 25th – Women’s Bible Study – “Believing God” by Beth Moore. “Today, the plight of Christians around the world is becoming more and more perilous. Radical extremists are seeking out new ways to carry out criminal acts against Christians, and they are relying on their governments to continue turning a blind eye to these atrocities. It is the duty of the faithful to pray for those who share our beliefs. While these modern-day martyrs are evidence of the oppressive conditions faced by followers of Christ around the world, they also serve as a reminder of the power of faith and the hope it brings to those living in even the most desolate and depraved conditions. Just as Jesus Himself delivered messages of hope and strength to His followers, believers across the world live out His teachings each day by holding onto their faith through persecution, displaying the courage and perseverance He spoke of. These brave Christians serve as living proof that when faith persists, hope prevails.” --- Andrea Rogers and Cole P. Zail. |
