If it wasn’t for temptations the Christian life would almost be a breeze, but it is temptations that challenge us on a daily if not constant basis. To know that there is a lifestyle demonstrated by our Savior creates our battle against the flesh and the spirit. Isn’t it interesting that the first recorded extended event in our Savior’s life is His battle with temptation?

                            There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:
                         but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that
                         ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
                         that ye may be able to bear it.

Big Idea:
His temptation resulted
in my salvation!
