Now that we know what we should “b” what “r” we?

1. What “are” we?
           We are – emphatic emphasis
               the salt – not “a” salt
                 Of the earth – the only for the entire planet
2. What are we doing?
            Adding value
               Adding flavor
                  Adding preservation
3. How are we doing it?
           By our “rub” - proximity
4. Why are we doing it?
          To bring wisdom
            To be useful
 
1. What “are” we?
           We are
              The light
                Of the world
2. What are we doing?
            A light illumines
              A light guides
                A light warns
                  A light comforts
                    A light clarifies
3. How are we doing it?
          By shining
4. Why are we doing it?
          To show Something different
            To show Someone different – God
What Makes Salt and Light Consistent?
 
Absolute standard of Authority   vs. 17
     Found in the Word
     Fulfilled in Jesus
 
Absolute Acceptance of that Authority   vs. 18
      Accepted by Jesus
      Actualized in Eternity
 
Absolute Affirmation of that Authority    vs. 19
      Can be Rejected
      Can be Accepted
 
Absolute Obedience to our Authority     Vs. 20
     Greater than Religion
     Greeted in Heaven

Big Idea: 
We “are” Salt
and Light if our
“be”attitudes are Right.
